So what the hell is this? I get the opportunity to remix quite a few tracks a year when I come across Acapellas or when lucky full sets of samples. I do these remixes alot, and they just sit, on my computer. No one ever gets to hear them. Because sample clearance and licensing is $$$ that I don't have. Whats the point if I'm the only person to ever get the chance to hear them. That would be pretty selfish. Unless some artist actually wanted to have me remix something for them which has happened but it's very rare. So what we have here is 5 select tracks of varying genre from my vast collection of remixes I have done, a few are from a couple years ago, most are from this year. 01 Tommy Lee - Hold Me Down (And Beat Me Remix) I actually played this song live, once. Just the music. No vocals were included Samples were made available on AcidPlanet.com for a remix contest, I never enter them. 02 Jay-Z - Moment of Clarity (The Exelleration Mix) The instrumental is actually a track I did for my friend Exell to rap over, it wasn't really his style, not dark enough. Snagged the Jay-Z acapella and laid it in. 03 MC Chris - Boys Don't Cry (Until I Beat Them Into Submission Mix) MC Chris is probably the only artist out of this bunch that wouldn't give a rats ass, many know him as MC Pee Pants from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, I got this acapella track from his website www.mcchris.com there is a bunch of remixes by other people for download. 04 Dashboard Confessional - Places You Have Come to Fear the Most (Like My Bedroom Mix) I don't really know why I did this. But it is the 5th version I've done of this track. It makes me laugh. 05 The Hermit - Wonderment (Curiously Strong Mix) Probably the only song on this that my mom would approve of. I dig it, alot. Samples were made available on AcidPlanet.com for a remix contest 06 The Silverback - Virus (Vaccine Remix) This is what happens when I remix a track I produced, when you compare it to the original version you will notice some is the same but it's really different. The bass is more digital, the vocals have no processing on them anymore and it's completely different drums. So there you have it, The Black Friday disc, my holidays gift to everyone, because I am flat broke. No no, broker than broke. Seriously. Now I use this to shameless whore myself out. buy my art at www.stencilbomb.com check out my personal site at www.natemc.com
